Tumour Hypoglycaemia Syndrome It is well established that severe fasting hypoglycaemia occurs in association with nonpancreatic neoplasms. Three types of neoplasms, including mesenchymal, hepatocellular and adrenal tumours, account for ninety-five per cent of the cases. Mesenchymal tumours include fibrosarcomas, mesotheliomas, neurofibromas, neurofibrosarcomas, spindle cell carcinomas, rhabdomyosarcomas and leiomyosarcomas. See also: • Hypoglycaemia
